Over the Air Patch 12.7.2012

Today Lookout released an over-the-air update (OTA) that mistakenly represented Fandango and a handful of other legitimate apps as malicious. Within an hour we detected it and immediately released an update to users, thus users should no longer be affected. Thank you to all our users who alerted us about this issue. With your help we were able to move very quickly!

For the small percentage of users that may have been affected, see below the list of safe applications that were miscategorized as malicious.

  • Fandango
  • Cars.com
  • Reliable Remote Smartphone Support (By NTT Docomo)
  • Univision
  • Open Signals Map (By Staircase 3)
