February 3, 2017
After a year full of headlines about data breaches and cyber war, it’s clear people want to know about the targeted attacks facing them. That’s what we’re providing at this year’s RSA.
We’ve planned a talk, a happy hour, and a great booth for all RSA attendees, especially those interested in learning about targeted mobile threats to corporate data.
Come see Lookout researchers Andrew Blaich and Max Bazaliy talk about “Professional mobile espionage attacks: Pegasus and beyond.” The two discuss the threat Congressman Ted Lieu urged a Congressional hearing over, and the overall rapidly changing landscape of espionage that now includes mobile devices.
When: February 16 from 2:45pm - 3:30pm
Where: Moscone West, Room 2002
Mobile devices are deeply integrated in our lives and the combination of features only available on mobile — always connected (Wi-Fi, 3G/4G), voice communications, camera, email, messaging, GPS, passwords, and contact lists, all in one device — make them particularly tempting targets for attack.
Blaich and Bazaliy will examine the ways highly resourced actors use targeted software that they wrote or purchased (from actors such as NSO Group and Hacking Team) to attack mobile devices, including a deep dive into the technical details.
Interested in learning more about Lookout Mobile Endpoint Security and how we protect corporations from targeted attacks against their high-value employees, network attacks, risky employee actions, commodity mobile malware, and more?
Come visit us at Booth 3223N (North) in the Expo Hall during the conference. You can see a floor plan on RSA’s website here.
