Understanding phishing threats in a post-perimeter world

By Lookout

According to the 2019 Verizon Mobile Security Index (MSI), over two fifths of respondents who said that they’d experienced a mobile-related compromise said it involved phishing. Phishing attacks, whether mobile or otherwise, have become more common and increasingly more difficult to defend against as they have evolved beyond email. Moreover, the Verizon MSI also states that 85 percent of phishing attacks seen on mobile devices take place outside of email.

It’s pretty clear that attackers are looking for new avenues of attack when it comes to phishing and that enterprises need to think differently about security to protect corporate data from modern phishing attacks. To address this issue, Lookout is hosting its second panel in its series, Securing the Post-Perimeter World: An Industry Forum, focused on the evolution of phishing.
